Having Beyonce sing - well, lip-sync - the forever classic Etta James song, 'At Last' at the inaugural shindig, well, that's just cold not having James sing it herself. Inconsiderate of Obama's folk, but especially disrespectful by Beyonce, who should be puckering up to James' southern parts for her trailblazing work. If it hadn't been for singers like Etta, Beyonce would be painting fingernails and lacquering hair in the inner city."
Why was Beyonce selected over James, anyway? Beyonce played James in a movie, that's why.
Etta says it stung to be not invited to the inauguration to sing "her song." You gotta agree, no matter whom you voted for, that's pretty low down and dirty.
