Moon Landing 40th: Our best to Mr. Wilson

The first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong, made his well-known quote, "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," right after his first step onto the surface of the moon. That's quote's right up there with the Gettysburg address. But what's not so well-known is what he said next: "Good luck, Mr. Wilson."

For 40 years, no one knew what Armstrong was talking about. But recently, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, the truth has come out:

When he was a kid, Armstrong lived next door to a middle-aged couple named Wilson. One afternoon as he was playing in the yard close to one of the Wilson's open windows, Armstrong heard Mrs. Wison say, "You'll get it when the kid next door lands on the moon!"

All we can do is hope for the best for poor Mr. Wilson.
