First off, we want to thank everyone who came out in the (expletive deleted) rain to have fun with us. That was nasty rain, wasn't it? ...The kind that got everywhere and into everything, and just wouldn't let up. So thanks for coming out!
Yeah, it was a tough setup, which made the greatness of our fans all the more special. On setup, we each discovered that one or another of us had each forgotten some stupid thing or another. Fortunately, other band members had extras of those things, so the job went off without a hitch, more or less. We say that because we are indebted to one of the waitresses who used her own time to go home and get her personal music stand to loan us. That's some great support from a club!
So yeah, thanks to Whispers, to our fans (whom we treated to some new tunes, by the way), and to all the group members who banded together to get 'er done.
Look for more soon on our soundman Dale's, new high-tech wireless mixing rig. It's a pip!
